To participate in the Linked Loyalty Program, you must have an eligible debit or credit card that is issued by RBC Royal Bank of Canada (full list of cards is available at https://linkedloyalty.avionrewards.com/triangle-rewards/linked-loyalty-terms-en.pdf.) (“eligible RBC Card’), be enrolled in RBC Online Banking, be a registered member of the Triangle Rewards Program, link your eligible RBC Card to your Triangle Rewards Account and comply with the Linked Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions. Any/every card means an eligible RBC card that is linked to a Triangle Rewards account.

Electronic Canadian Tire Money (“CT Money^®”) can be earned and redeemed on qualifying items at Canadian Tire and at designated Partner locations. Terms and conditions apply to earning and redeeming CT Money. Your participation in the Triangle Rewards Program is governed by the Triangle Rewards Program Terms and Conditions. Also refer to the Partner page on the Program website for qualifying items at Partners. Please note that you will not earn CT Money on purchases made using a Linked RBC Card at any other retailer.

Designated Partner Locations include any Canadian Tire retail store, Sport Chek, Mark’s, L’Équipeur, Party City, Pro Hockey Life, Atmosphere, Sports Rousseau, Hockey Experts, L’Entrepôt du Hockey and participating Sports Experts stores in Canada.

You must be a member of the Triangle Rewards^® program to convert Avion points into Canadian Tire Money®. To enable this conversion, your Triangle Rewards account must be linked to an eligible RBC card that earns Avion points. A minimum of 140 Avion points must be converted each time and may be increased in increments of 1 Avion Point. For every 140 Avion Points which are converted, you will receive one $1.00 Canadian Tire Money. A maximum of 25,000 Avion Points can be converted per day. Any converted Canadian Tire Money will be rounded down to the nearest cent. For example, a calculated value of 10.367 Canadian Tire Money will be rounded down to 10.36 Canadian Tire Money. Avion points will be converted to Canadian Tire Money and appear in your Triangle Rewards Account immediately after completing a conversion. Once Avion points are converted to Canadian Tire Money, (i) they cannot be reversed/returned or converted back to Avion Points; and (ii) they are subject to the full Triangle Rewards Terms and Conditions including, but not limited to, provisions relating to the expiration of Canadian Tire Money.

Once you link your RBC Credit or an RBC Debit Card to your Triangle Rewards Account (“RBC Linked Card”), you’ll earn 3X CT Money, consisting of the .4% base rate earned by Triangle Rewards members X 3 for a total of 1.2% of the pre-tax amount of the purchase each time you present your Triangle Rewards card/key fob or any approved Cardless Method and use your Linked RBC Card to pay for qualifying purchases at Canadian Tire or Designated Partner Locations. The 3X CT Money is exclusive of any bonus or promotional offers. CT Money you collect upon making a purchase cannot be redeemed for that purchase and can only be redeemed for a subsequent eligible purchase after the CT Money has been processed and issued to the Triangle Rewards Account.
