You can link your Moi card and RBC Card(s) at any time by:

  • Visiting avionrewards.com/moi or
  • Sign in to your RBC Online Banking, select the card you want to link and then “Link or update Moi Rewards” in the right-hand menu.

You need to link your cards once to enjoy the exclusive benefits of RBC’s partnership with Metro. After you’re linked, you will earn extra Moi points on all your eligible purchases when you scan your Moi card and pay with your linked RBC Card.

Most personal and business RBC debit and credit cards can be linked to your Moi account. RBC Commercial credit cards and RBC Visa Prepaid Cards are excluded.

As a personal or business client, your RBC debit card and all your eligible credit cards will be linked to the same Moi card.

As a personal client, co-applicants on your accounts will need to link their RBC Cards to their own Moi account. Only one user can link to a Moi card at one time.

If you are the primary cardholder, any authorized users on your accounts will automatically be linked to your Moi card. Co-applicants and authorized users cannot link authorized user cards through this process.

No. Moi Rewards is a new loyalty program from Metro being introduced in Ontario. RBC clients can link their existing RBC Cards to a Moi card to earn extra Moi points at participating stores*. This is on top of any other benefits you already enjoy on your cards.

*Includes Metro, Food Basics, Jean Coutu, Super C, Brunet and Première Moisson

When you link your cards, you consent to Royal Bank of Canada and Metro Inc. sharing your Moi card number and your Moi account status, along with a unique identifier to represent the linking relationship between RBC and Metro for the purposes of enrolment and administration of your participation in the Linked Loyalty Program. In addition, you can optionally opt-in for data-enhanced experiences between RBC & Metro that includes competitive transaction information and personal information that will help RBC and Metro will use this information to personalize your experience by presenting you with tailored offers, recommendations and marketing. If you wish to opt out, you can so do at any time by signing into your RBC Online Banking, selecting any linked card and then choosing “Link or update your Moi Rewards” on the right-hand menu. Once you have reached the linking page, you will find the toggle to opt in and out of data-enhanced experiences.

You can link, change, view, or remove your Moi card and RBC Card(s) at any time by signing in to your RBC Online Banking, select the card you want to modify and then “Link or update Moi Rewards” in the right-hand menu.

Once you’ve linked your eligible RBC Cards to your Moi card, you can use your preferred mobile payment method and still receive extra Moi points. Please allow up to 2 business days after you’ve added your cards to your mobile wallet for us to link your cards.

Mobile payment is not available for business clients at this time.

Once you’ve linked at least one RBC Card to your Moi Rewards card, all eligible new or replacement cards that you receive after will automatically be linked.

Please note it can take up to 2 business days once a new card is activated for it to be linked.

You can start earning Moi points within 2 business days of linking.

To qualify for extra Moi points when paying with your linked RBC Card, your purchase total must be at least $60 when shopping at any Metro, Food Basics, or Super C; a minimum of $40 at any Jean Coutu or Brunet; and a minimum of $20 at any Première Moisson.

Yes. You need to scan your Moi card every time you shop to earn Moi points, even when paying with your linked RBC Card.

You’ll need to contact Moi customer service at 1 866-638-0020 or visit https://help-center.moirewards.ca to get a replacement card. Please note, you will need to unlink your old card and link your new one to your RBC Card to continue earning extra Moi points.

You can see your Moi points balance anytime by logging into your Moi Rewards account at https://www.programmemoi.ca/en.

If you have a product that is eligible for the Avion Rewards program, you will be required to become a member to link your cards. If you have a product that is eligible for linking but not eligible for Avion, you will be able to link without becoming an Avion member.

If your RBC Card isn’t showing up when you try to link, please ensure 1) you are the primary cardholder or co-applicant of the personal credit card. Please note for business credit cards, the co-applicant can only be linked via the primary cardholder 2) your card is eligible to link – see eligible cards. No. Only one person can link their RBC Cards to a Moi card number. If someone has already linked to an account you believe is yours, please reach out to Metro to investigate as your Moi card could be compromised.

If you received an RBC Message Centre notification advising you that linking has failed, please contact Moi customer service at 1-866-638-0020 to determine the reason for linking failure as your Moi card could be invalid or already in use.

If you received an RBC Message Centre notification advising you that your card has been unlinked because you are no longer eligible, it may be due to changes you have made to your RBC accounts. Please contact us at 1-800-769-2511 to find out more.

If you received an RBC Message Centre notification advising you that your card has been unlinked because your linked Moi card has become invalid, you will need to relink with a valid Moi card number to resume earning your extra Moi points. Please contact Moi customer service at 1-866-638-0020 for assistance.
